Vivo, a major Chinese smartphone brand owned by the same company behind Oppo and OnePlus, has announced the X20 Plus UD, the first ever smartphone to ship with the technology.
The phone is the result of collaboration between Vivo and Synaptics, the US-based sensor maker.
Vivo V11 Pro has beenlaunched in India at a price of Rs 25,990 with a waterdrop notch and an in-display fingerprint sensor

Okay so now talking in very simple way, Right Beneath your screen there's an camera placed Which actually clicks your fingers picture, right when you try to unlock your device.
And then it checks whether that finger matches with the finger you registered while setting up your device.

And in between there a gap from where it actully captures you fingers photo.
* You would have even noticed while registering or while unlocking your device you will see a green/Blue light, Now what that light does it simply projects light on your finger. And based upon your finger it how is your pattern on finger Ridge's and valley's.
And later on it leaves you operating your device or with a message of "Try Again".
